Colin Eldridge - Fighting for LiverpoolProspective MP for Liverpool, Wavertree
Colin Eldridge lives in the heart of the Wavertree constituency on Rathbone Road and has been a city councillor since 2004. He is currently chair of the influential Sustainable Communities Select Committee. Previously he was cabinet member for Leisure and Community Safety, during this period he was responsible for the development of the Picton Pool and for the Alleygating scheme. In 2007, Colin was also a leading figure in the fight against gun crime - an issue that Colin still fights strongly for today. He is also a former member of the Merseyside Police Authority. Until last year Colin was a partner in a local small business employing a number of long term unemployed through the employment zone scheme. He is a board member of Penny Lane Development Trust and a school governor at the Blue Coat School in Wavertree. Colin is the son of a policeman and a teacher which has led him to be passionate about public service. His partner Laura is a former head girl of Bishop Eton school. Colin Eldridge is a dedicated campaigner, and slashed the Labour majority to a notional 3000 votes in the last election. With the Conservatives out of the race in the city, Colin is the only person who can end Labour's neglect of Liverpool Printed and hosted by Prater Raines Ltd, 98 Sandgate High Street, Folkestone CT20 3BY.Published and Promoted by T Morrison on behalf of Colin Eldridge (Liberal Democrat) all at 509 Smithdown Road, Liverpool L15 5AE The views expressed are those of the party, not of the service provider. |
